I can’t believe our little babe is 3-months old today! While I’m super sad my baby isn’t as little as he once was, I’m loving who he is becoming. I can definitely see why people say that 3-6 months is their favorite. Henry is growing like a weed and becoming more “human-like”. In the 3 months Henry has been here, he’s done so much. Henry has been shopping (numerous times), spent time with all his great-grandparents and grandparents, attended football games, road tripped, had sleepovers, movie nights, gone pumpkin picking, attended his first wedding, watched his first Cleveland Browns game with his Pawpaw Drumm, and so much more! I can’t wait to celebrate the holiday season with him! Now moving on to today’s post, Henry’s 3-month update. Keep reading to check out how much Henry has grown, his “best”/”worst” moments, and more!
Henry’s 3-Month Update:
16 pounds 4 ounces
Diapers: Size 3
Clothes: Pretty much 6 months, there are a few 3-6 months clothes that fit him.
6 ounces every 2-3 hours
Through the night…well for the most part. We are in the process of transitioning Henry to his crib and with that comes getting the temperature right in his room. For some reason, it is getting so cold in his room around 3:00 am. That’s when Henry starts to fuss so we bring him to our room since his room is so cold. If it wasn’t for the temperature, I’m pretty sure he’d sleep through the night like he was before the transition.
Definitely developing! Henry loves to sit and chitter-chatter at you and he is starting to giggle, which makes my heart melt. He smiles ALL the time, especially when his dad gets home from work.
Sleeping through the night for 11-13 hours!
Almost rolls over. He gets to his side and then just doesn’t know what to do.
Definitely, his personality developing.
When he gets in a mood, he gets in a mood. This boy can cry/scream at the top of his lungs until he gets what he wants.
My 3-Month Update:
My Mental Health:
This is definitely something that I’ve been struggling with. I’m not ready to go into full detail just yet, but I’m sure I will. I’m doing okay. Postpartum is hard. It truly affects your mentality and I don’t think that is something that is talked about enough. Again, we will talk more on this at a later time.
My Physical Health:
Still struggling to lose weight. I thought it’d be so much easier but boy, was I wrong. I’m running (walking) in a 4-mile race this Sunday. My dad, my sister, and I signed up in June to run (walk) it together. It’s down on the Ohio State campus and finishes on the 50-yard line of the Ohio Stadium. There are opportunities to meet past Ohio State athletes, Ohio State coaches, and of course, Brutus.
