Happy Friday, friends!! I am so glad that October is here. Earlier this week I shared some fun activities to do this month and I also shared that my birthday is this month. Birthdays have always been something special to me, not just my birthday but all birthdays. There’s just something about celebrating your loved ones day of birth. This year I’ll be 26 and I’m not sure if we will do anything special, but I thought it’d be fun to create a birthday wishlist. Of course, I’m not expecting all or any of these items but they are just some things that I’ve been wanting to purchase myself. To go along with my birthday wishlist, I thought it’d be fun to share 3 fun facts about me.
My Birthday Wishlist:
It’s time for me to finally update my winter jacket as it’s too small. I saw this jacket online a while ago and fell in love. The length is so unique and I just love that the color will go with black and brown shades.
Since I became a mom this year, I want to have something special that I can wear daily that keeps Henry close to my heart. I’m obsessed with this bar necklace that says ‘MAMA’ and has a circle charm that can include the ‘H’ initial for Henry.
My black booties have officially kicked the bucket and I can’t go through fall/winter without black booties. I was so torn on which pair I liked the best. Let me know in the comment which pair you like the best!
To go along with the mama necklace, I found this birthstone ring from the same site. Again, I love that it’s something I can wear daily to keep Henry close to me.
These are my absolute favorite jeans and I need a new pair in a bigger size #postpartumproblems. The fit is so flattering and can be dressed up with booties or dressed down with sneakers. Plus, this is the perfect amount of distressing.

I haven’t bought a new palette in a while and I’ve been eyeing this ABH Modern Renaissance palette for months, I’ve just been too cheap to pull the trigger. The shades are so perfect for fall and would be the best palette to create some holiday looks. I’m also obsessed with the ABH Liquid Lipstick in the shade ‘Pure Hollywood’. This shade is the perfect nude that will go with any look, especially this palette.
Sneakers are my obsession, I’d hate to count how many pairs I have. Blush is a color I don’t have and clearly, need since blush is such a great color this year. You also can’t go wrong with black sneakers and the pair I have is finally starting to show some wear after a handful of years. Time for an upgrade!
3 Fun Facts:
I’m OBSESSED with sports. Growing up I always played some kind of sport- soccer, softball, cross country, and basketball. Not only did I play lots of sports but I love watching sports. I could spend hours in front of the TV watching NASCAR, football, basketball, and baseball. I’m starting to get into golf more but it’s not my favorite to watch unless it’s a big tournament, like the Masters. In high school and college, I actually helped coach junior high basketball and loved it!
Growing up I lived on 10 acres. My parents bought land when I was 5 and built our home in the country. They still live in the same house that I grew up. Growing up in the country brought lots of opportunities that I wouldn’t have had if we stayed in the city. From April-July we had a few sheep that we showed at the fair. We would get them when they were little and send them to market at the end of the county fair. I showed from 3rd grade til junior year of high school. Living in the country meant learning how to drive a tractor which we used to ride around the property for fun. I love that we will be able to bring Henry to the country and he will have a place to run around and be crazy.
I didn’t become a dog person until I had my own dogs. As crazy as it sounds, I wasn’t a huge dog love until Brad and I got our first dog 6 years ago. Growing up, we always had outside dogs to keep all of the critters away so they were more “work” dogs and they never went inside. So when Brad and I adopted our first dog and he was an inside dog, that’s when I really started to become a dog person. Now we have 2 dogs and I can’t imagine life without them.
